Why do you know her?
With her debut album “Uh Oh” turning massive numbers in the stores, her single “Crushed” climbing the pop charts, and her video in heavy rotation on MuchMusic, this 23 year old Vancouver native is quickly becoming Canada's newest Diva in the making.   Luckily, she chose to swing through Calgary and say hi to us here at VM.

We just found her a new demographic.
“I think it just depends on the taste you have in music.   I was signing autographs and this tall, beautiful blonde, in her late 30s said she loved my music, and the next girl is all hip-hop, b-girled out.   It's the contrast that amazes me.   It means that I satisfy more than just one group.   I'm just hoping guys will like the pictures.”

Don't cave to peer pressure, kids.
“It was really funny.   Everybody had a party, and they all wanted to get me drunk, but I said ‘no I don't drink.'   So they tried but they just couldn't make it happen.   They told me it was good for my vocals.   Liars!”
